Postdoctoral Fellow to work on RNA editing in human disease at Lund University, SwedenNovember 18th, 2025 I am looking for a candidate to join me as a postdoctoral fellow as we explore A-to-I RNA editing in the tumor microenvironment together. My budding group is centered around all things RNA editing and is located at Lund University in Sweden, at the Faculty of Medicine. The ideal candidate will be able to actively drive all aspects of the project, from benchwork to data analysis using computational pipelines. Experience or a strong interest in independently working with bioinformatics is therefore expected. You should be curiosity-driven, driven, and eager to work in a collaborative environment. The exact scope of your project can be discussed and adapted to your specific interests and skills. Required qualifications: - a PhD in molecular biology, biomedicine, computational biology, or a similar field Desired qualifications: The right candidate is curiosity-driven, driven, and eager to work in a collaborative environment. You should also have documented experience in several of the following areas: A-to-I RNA editing, molecular lab work, bioinformatics, spatial transcriptomics, cell culture, in vivo animal models, work with tissue sections or clinical samples. Details: You will work with Associate Researcher Gjendine Voss at Lund University in Sweden. The fellowship is for two years, and ideally you will be able to start in the spring or summer of 2026. Other restrictions: In order to qualify for the fellowship, your PhD degree must not be older than 5 years, and you should not be from Sweden.
