Postdoctoral positions in cryo-EM based structural design of UTRs for mRNA therapeutic applications

Posted on March 7,

Come join us at the Center for RNA Therapeutics at the Houston Methodist Research Institute where we will use structure based design principles to engineer UTRs to affect the expression of mRNA therapies!

Our projects utilize a broad range of experiments including:
Cryo-EM, bespoke RNA structure design, Machine Learning, Molecular and Cell Biology assays and more!

The McRae lab offers a unique opportunity for postdoctoral researchers to make significant contributions to the field of RNA therapeutics. With 5 years of funding from CPRIT and support from the RNA core at Houston Methodist we aim to establish a translational research program that bridges the gap between basic and applied research.

Our team is highly collaborative and supportive, with a focus on providing mentorship and career development opportunities for all members.  We also offer comprehensive resources and support for postdoctoral researchers, including a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and access to cutting-edge technology and instrumentation.

For more information or to apply, please send a cover letter, CV, and contact information for three references to [email protected], or apply directly here. We look forward to hearing from you and welcome you to join our team!
