Postdoctoral Positions at University of Chicago

Posted on March 20,

Postdoctoral Positions are available in the Fei research group at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of The University of Chicago.

Research in the Fei lab is centered at the interface of quantitative imaging and RNA biology. We are studying the mechanisms by which RNA molecules and RNA binding proteins regulate gene expression in both bacteria (riboswitch and sRNA) and eukaryotes (RNA modification), in vitro or in live cells, using single-molecule fluorescence microscopy and super-resolution imaging. We are also developing new labeling, imaging and analysis methods. Please check our website to find out more details (http://feilab.uchicago.edu/).

Qualified applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in biophysics, biochemistry, microbiology, cell biology, chemical biology, biomedical engineering, or related fields, be highly self-motivated and demonstrate ability for innovative and rigorous scientific research (with record of publications in peer-reviewed journals). Interested candidates should send their CV, a brief summary of their research interests and accomplishments, and a list of three references to Dr. Jingyi Fei ([email protected]).
