Postdoctoral position to study RNP organization

A funded postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr Daniel Zenklusen at the Université de Montréal in Montréal, Canada ( The project aims to study fundamental aspects of mRNP and lncRNA organization and its role in regulating metabolism. The project will employ multidisciplinary approaches in the areas of single-molecule and super-resolution microscopy, RNA/protein biochemistry and CRISPR-Cas9-mediated genome editing using mammalian cell culture models.

Applicants should have a PhD in Cell Biology, Biochemistry and/or Biophysics and extensive experience in working with RNA, RNA-protein interactions and/or single molecule biophysical methods.

This funded position will be for two years with a possibility of extension.
