Postdoctoral position to study RNP organization

A funded postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr Daniel Zenklusen at the Université de Montréal in Montréal, Canada (zenklusenlab.org). The project aims to study fundamental aspects of mRNP and lncRNA organization and its role in regulating metabolism. The project will employ multidisciplinary approaches in the areas of single-molecule and super-resolution microscopy, RNA/protein biochemistry and CRISPR-Cas9-mediated genome editing using mammalian cell culture models.

Applicants should have a PhD in Cell Biology, Biochemistry and/or Biophysics and extensive experience in working with RNA, RNA-protein interactions and/or single molecule biophysical methods.

This funded position will be for two years with a possibility of extension.
