Postdoctoral position available at the Jagannathan Laboratory, University of Colorado School of Medicine

The laboratory of Dr. Sujatha Jagannathan seeks to hire a Postdoctoral Fellow. Our lab is in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics and part of the RNA Bioscience Initiative at the University of Colorado School of Medicine at Denver, CO. Our lab studies how nonsense-mediated RNA decay impacts gene function, evolution of nonsense variants, and human genetic disorders. The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to develop their own research direction within the lab’s general interest. Candidates will be expected to plan and execute independent work, write and submit fellowship applications (if applicable), assist in the writing and publication of experimental results, and contribute positively towards the atmosphere and culture of the lab.
