Postdoctoral position – RNA biology - University of California, Riverside2023 May 18, We are looking for a talented and motivated postdoc to work on RNA biology in mammalian cells. The position is in the laboratory of Dr. Jernej Murn in the Department of Biochemistry at UC Riverside and is fully funded by NIH and NSF grants. A successful applicant will take a lead role in projects within the scope of our main areas of interest pertaining to 1) RNA-binding proteins and their interactions with effectors of RNA processing, 2) regulatory roles of tRNA modifications in development and disease, or 3) non-canonical functions of RNases P and MRP. Candidates should have a recent Ph.D. and a strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology and/or bioinformatics and computational biology.
