Postdoctoral Fellowship/Research Associate in the Department of Biochemistry, University of Cambridge, UK

Posted on July 26,

We are looking for an enthusiastic and independent Research Associate to become a part of our team. This post offers an opportunity to participate in an exciting research project in collaboration with Prof Kathryn Lilley and funded by Pfizer. The project aims at elucidating the relationship between RNA modifications, RNA structure, and its localization and turnover, as well as the effect that these RNA features exert on the translational efficiency, and perturbation of the cellular RNA-binding proteome. Those with a PhD in molecular biology or biochemistry with experience in RNA biology, molecular biology, microscopy, and a keen interest to learn new techniques, interested in engaging with an industrial partner (Pfizer) on a regular basis are very welcome to apply or get in touch with Dr Alex Borodavka ([email protected]) for informal inquiries. Please note that the closing date for this position has been extended until 21/08/2022.
