With over three decades of experience in rare disease, our broad global rare disease portfolio aims to address the unmet medical needs across a number of therapeutic areas, including hematology, neurology, endocrinology, cardiology, and inherited metabolic diseases. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Proactively identify new research directions and testable hypotheses, taking full advantage of Pfizer internal knowledge and resources. Contribute intellectually to the wider group of the Pfizer Rare Disease Research Unit QUALIFICATIONS Recent PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, or related discipline with a minimum of 1 high quality first-author publication(s) is required. An in-depth understanding of RNA biology Significant molecular biology experience including expertise in cell culture technique, immortalized cell lines and iPSCs, molecular cloning, in vitro knockdown strategies (CRISPR, siRNA), and quantitative PCR.
