The research group working on Human Host defense Ribonucleases headed by Dr. Ester Boix at the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, is looking for a postdoctoral candidate to apply for a competitive call for a Postdoctoral Fellowship for 3 years.

Candidates should have:

• obtained her/his PhD between 1st January 2014 and 31st December 2019
• a minimum of previous 2-year postdoctoral research experience in a non-Spanish organization 
• a PhD in Biochemistry or a related field and experience in any of the following areas: Enzymology, Structural Biology, Protein Engineering, RNA Biology and/or Molecular Biology.

The research group is working on the structural determinants of anti-infective RNases for the specific recognition of ncRNA and their immunomodulation role. The laboratory is located at UAB Campus at 10 min distance to ALBA cell synchrotron.
