Postdoctoral Fellow – Effectors of RNA processing & Ancient RNA-based enzymes - University of California, Riverside

We are looking for a talented and motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to work on RNA biology in mammalian cells. The position is in the laboratory of Dr. Jernej Murn in the Department of Biochemistry at UC Riverside and is fully funded by NIH and NSF grants.

A successful applicant will take a lead role in projects within the scope of our main areas of interest pertaining either to 1) the communication between RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) and the effectors of RNA processing, or 2) non-canonical functions of ancient RNA-based enzymes in human cells.

The candidate will have a strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, or bioinformatics and computational biology. For more information about the lab, please visit https://www.murnlab.info/.
