Postdoctoral Associate in RNA biology (New York University)

Posted on September 18,

The Gainetdinov lab at the Department of Biology at NYU is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to work on RNA biology. We seek to understand how cells protect and destroy mRNAs, lncRNAs, and different classes of small RNAs. Our lab applies genetics, biochemistry, high-throughput sequencing, and computational modeling to define the biological roles of RNA metabolism in development and disease.

The Department of Biology at NYU fosters a highly supportive and collaborative environment, and research topics range from biophysics to molecular biology to population genetics. (NYU postdocs are eligible for subsidized university housing.) The greater research community in New York is an ideal place for biomedical training with outstanding job prospects in both academia and industry.
