Posted on May 12,

The research group of Dr Lovorka Stojic at the Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London, is looking to recruit a postdoc to investigate the role of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) in genome stability and cancer. The project involves functional studies in cell lines together with cutting-edge quantitative proteomics, imaging, transcriptomics and genomics. The goal of the project is to uncover new mechanisms by which lncRNA genes maintain genome stability and understand how dysregulation of lncRNA regulatory networks contribute to cancer. For more information about the lab, please visit https://www.stojiclab.com.

Skills required: PhD in biology or related life science field. Significant laboratory experience in cell and molecular biology is essential. Experience in the field of RNA biology, imaging, genomics and bioinformatics is strongly desired.
