The MacRae Lab is seeking a postdoc with training in computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related discipline, to join our group. Research in the lab focuses on the biology of small RNAs, with primary expertise in biochemistry, molecular biology, and structural biology. Desired applicants will bring computational skills that complement current strengths in the lab. An ideal candidate will have a solid set of programming skills (e.g. Python, R), experience interrogating biological hypotheses using data from NGS methods, an aptitude for integrating multiple data types in novel analyses, and the ability to work as part of a diverse team.

• PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field.
• Knowledge of next-generation sequencing (NGS) and associated technologies (e.g., RNA-seq, CLIP-seq).
• Experience integrating diverse data types at genome or transcriptome scale.
• Experience with RNA biology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Interested candidates should email a complete CV, preferably with 2-3 references, to [email protected].
