FL92/93 Inc. is a highly dynamic, entrepreneurial, and innovation-driven organization seeking to hire an exceptional scientist to join our development team. FL92/93 is seeking a scientist with a strong background cell biology to join our expanding team as a part of our development group. The position requires broad technical experience that spans cellular biology and molecular biology, with a strong emphasis on critical thinking, multitasking, and the ability to learn new techniques. The successful candidate will help lead and support multidisciplinary project teams focused on the engineering and development of new therapeutic modalities, including nucleic acids, peptides, proteins, cells, and various conjugate molecules. The candidate will focus on all aspects of development spanning conceptualization, experimentation, data analysis, presentation, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will work both independently and as part of a team to design, plan and execute high-quality biochemical and cell-based assays
• Lead the development and execution of cell-based assays to assess the biological activity of nucleotide-based compounds
• Manage and oversee CRO collaborations for in vivo experiments
• Critical data analysis, attention to detail, and troubleshooting abilities
• Written and oral presentation of results
• Generate and support intellectual property generation for core projects
• Mentor and train research associates as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering or related discipline with 0-4 years of experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical company (the title will be adjusted for the level of experience)
• Deep knowledge and understanding of cell biology. Proficient in experimental design, assay execution, troubleshooting, data analysis, and data interpretation
• Extensive hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture including primary cells and in handling tissues
• Strong expertise in flow cytometry, cell sorting and immunofluorescence (confocal microscopy preferred)
• The ideal candidate is experienced in RNA/DNA delivery (e.g., mRNA, siRNA, ASOs)
• Execution focused, team oriented, and highly motivated
• Experience with the following techniques is highly preferred: FISH, RT-qPCR, RNA-seq, cloning, cell culture, immunohistochemistry, Northern and Western blotting
