Abstract
\nSubmissions<\/h1>\n

Presenting authors should\u00a0register<\/strong><\/a> for the meeting before submitting an abstract. The link for abstract submission will be sent in a confirming email message immediately after registration is completed.<\/p>\n

Submission Deadlines
\n<\/strong>Oral Abstracts: March 4, 2024
\nPoster Abstracts: April 1, 2024<\/p>\n

On both dates, the cutoff time is 23:59 Pacific Time (U.S. west coast). You must be registered to attend the meeting prior to submitting an abstract.<\/p>\n

Guidelines
\n<\/strong>A template will not be provided. Submissions will be subject to the following limitations: Title = 40 words; Abstract = 400 words; image files cannot be included. Authors should be entered in the same order they are to appear in the program.<\/p>\n

You will be able to return and complete the submission later if you do not have all the required information initially, however the submission must be completed by the deadline date. All subsequent logins to amend an abstract must be done with the same user account as the original submission. Submitters are responsible for the accuracy of the abstract and author list!<\/u><\/p>\n

Posters
\n<\/strong>Poster boards will hang vertically. Poster size should be A0 or no larger than 3 feet wide by 4 feet tall.<\/p>\n

PI Ranking
\n<\/strong>If multiple oral abstracts are submitted from one lab, the PI will be asked to rank the abstracts. Emails will be sent to PIs by March 8 and PIs must reply by March 15 to have their rankings considered by the organizers. In the case of multiple senior PIs on an abstract, only one can be identified as the contact for this ranking.<\/p>\n

Digital Content
\n<\/strong>Oral presenters are expected to record their talk in advance of the meeting and upload a URL (web link) to the video. (The video file will not be uploaded, presenter shall determine where to house the video.) Poster presenters are expected to make a PDF of their poster and upload the file. Oral and poster presenters will be provided with instructions for uploading digital content in May (this is not part of the initial submission procedure). Access to the Digital Content Library will be restricted to registered attendees for a limited amount of time starting after the close of the meeting in Edinburgh.<\/p>\n

Decisions
\n<\/strong>Decisions about oral presentations will be sent by email in mid-April. All oral abstracts which are not selected for a talk will be accepted as posters.\u00a0\u00a0One submission is sufficient \u2013 please do not submit the same abstract twice for both oral and poster.<\/u><\/p>\n
