The annual Metals in Biology (MIB) meeting features research in all areas of metal-biomolecule interactions, including RNA! Among other topics, the 2020 meeting will include talks on riboswitches and early earth ribosome chemistry. The MIB community is vibrant, collaborative, and highly supportive of junior investigators and new ideas. The MIB GRC will run Jan. 19-24, 2020 in Ventura, CA. In addition, an associated Graduate Research Seminar (GRS) run by PhD and Postdoctoral researchers will meet the subsequent the weekend, with an overlapping Thursday evening session.
