The RNA Society - Annual Meeting Sponsorship
Thanks for your interest in sponsoring the Annual Meeting of the RNA Society. This is the premiere meeting for open discussion of the most recent advances in RNA science, methodology, technology, and applications. The RNA Meeting consists of oral and poster presentations in all areas of RNA structure, function, biology and chemistry. The Annual RNA Meetings provide unique opportunities for both young and prominent scientists from industry and academia to meet and discuss current, i.e., most typically yet-to-be published methods, data and concepts. In fact, the collegial atmosphere of the RNA Meetings allows for discussions and interactions that, in our experience, seldom occur elsewhere. This conference attracts more than 1,000 participants from around the world, providing a great opportunity for all members of the RNA community to come together to share ideas and methods, to renew old collaborations and to establish new ones.
Corporate involvement in the meeting is through mechanisms that enhance the scientific and intellectual goals of the meeting. In general, this has meant that sponsors provide funds to support key informal interactions, especially those that occur during platform session breaks and poster sessions. The funds may be used for travel fellowships, cover poster prizes, or cover the costs of refreshments at the poster sessions. The specific of the arrangement are arranged at the time the sponsor contacts the Society and we are happy to entertain suggestions for how to use the funds in a manner that benefits the Society and the sponsor.
- Meeting Sponsor ($2,000 minimun sponsorship)
- Acknowledged at the beginning of each plenary session as well as during breaks in the sessions.
- Listed as a Meeting Sponsor in the abstract book as well as on the meeting web-site.
- Invited to have representatives register for the meeting (with the costs associated of any attendee) in order to exhibit material (table space provided in a high traffic area at the poster sessions).
Sponsorship at other levels is also welcomed. Please contact the RNA Society CFO, Dr. James Bruzik (James.Bruzik[at]case.edu) for more information relating to meeting sponsorship.
